The view is lovely, the snacks are good and the service is great! Whenever we want to get out of the city, we head there! And while we love kids, we do appreciate that Ahles is 21 and over.
It's McMenamins food, but the menu here has some surprises. This place is tucked away down from the main lodge. The view of the sea lions stealing the salmon from the fisherman is outstanding. I have to admit this location is general is pretty amazing. I completed my first passport here. It will always have a special place for me.
A unique place to enjoy a wonderful meal with a full bar, and the best part is their location, right along the Columbia River just a few miles North of Vancouver, Washington. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and great beers with a great view!! Choose indoor seating in the cabin or outside tables with the river right in front of you! Give them a try, and you will be happy that you did!!
Perfect spot to grab a drink and sit and enjoy the view. Also the employees are always so wonderful. 10/10 recommend.
Must say Jeremy made this place overall. He was not only friend but went the extra mile catching us on the path asking if our pups needed water. Great sunset on the patio, fire stoked and going. Patio was dog friendly. Surprised w the quality food. Small bbq chicken pizza, tots, wine beer and tip for 50.... Wouldn’t hesitate to do it over. Jeremy was attentive entire visit to all guests, despite being Friday night dinner rush, didn’t miss a step! Thank you for a great date night out

Fun little bar. Jeremy is a whirlwind of a bartender. Not the best spot for dinner, but some food is available. Enjoy the fire on a cold day or enjoy the patio on a warm one.
The bartender Jeremy was so kind and felt like family! I was so lucky to experience this cozy cabin with my mom and sister. I highly recommend this place if you want GREAT service, EPIC views, and AMAZING vibes!!
